Hi there i just thought iam gona share a very inexpensive but very efective way to protect your software it is serverbased and allows you to create keys and matchkeys
for example a user has to enter the serial and his emailadress the email must match the serial
you can activate and deactivate keys make them expire and much more i use this php class on my server with a little database and iam happy for over 1 year now
The price for the class is only 5 Dollar!!!! 
May you need a script to run the class or you dont understand much about php ask me i may help you out
