I would like to use hpwMapiMail to send e-mails.

But in order to do that there needs to be a default e-mail client installed.

How can I determine that this is the case on the computer that would be running this App.

Hello,

Not a trivial question.

You may check the registry ‘\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail’ for installed mail clients.

Not all clients were MAPI compliant in the past.
