In this article we are going to see how to play around with the Media Player Launcher task, with this Media Player task we can provide with in the application to launch a media player and play a video or audio file. We can provide a list of media files that can be played one by one, along with we have option to make use of the Media play back controls like rewind and stop to skip or rerun the media file. Media file location can be as a resource file or we can also use an Isolated storage to store and retrieve the file while rendering the player to play the respective file. Let us see the steps on how to use this task in a Windows Phone application development.

That wouldn’t suprise me. I don’t work much with microphones, so I wouldn’t know. But if you have problems, post them here. ![]()

I need to be able to change / mute this..
It seems that Neobook’s set volume command for this simple procedure is not working..
Anyone have any solution without a 3rd party plugin which would allow me to mute the Mic volume in win7.
Thanks all.

An easier way is to setup a Rectangle object … just keep changing its "width" as the task progresses e.g. if 500 px represents 100% … then 10% completion is shown by setting its width to 50 px … if you want, you can place another Rectangle of the same "height" underneath it (same x,y location, same max width, but different color/border) to show "progress remaining"

The splash screen option shows a thermometer style progress bar. This is obviously a standard Windows component. I see it used everywhere.
Do we/Can we, have an option to use this object in NB?

Thanks.
